Manchester, England| The Tunisian man, Khedri Adel, a 27-year-old, who set himself on fire in Tunis’ central Bourghiba Avenue on Tuesday, has died early this morning at Ben Arous hospital in the capital, news outlets report.
Khedri’s conditions had immediately appeared very critical with third degree burns all over his body.
With no clear motive why he set himself on fire, the young man was a street vendor of cigarettes from Souk El-Jema in Jendouba.
Some reports talked about the poverity that he had been living in could be the motive for his tragic death.
Others reports said that he had tried in vain to get health care to treat his psychological problems.
