Mursi offers condolences after at least nine dead on Egypt’s uprising anniversary

Oklahoma City, U.S.A–President Mohamed Mursi expressed his sincere condolences to all Egyptians following the deadly clashes, which have roiled Egypt’s streets on the second anniversary of Egypt revolution.

Mursi said “I call on all citizens to hold onto the noble principles of the Egyptian revolution to peacefully and freely express their views.”

In addition to that, the Egyptian president stressed that “the government will chase the criminals and bring them to justice and will do its utmost to protect the demonstrations and secure it”

Meanwhile, official media outlets reported that the president is supposed to be meeting with the Egypt’s National Defense Council to look into the unfolding events.
