Algeria called on Arab countries to ensure minimum connectivity in case of technical failure

Agadir, Morocco | Algerian Minister of Post and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) Moussa Benhamadi on Friday called on Arab countries to set up an exchange platform to ensure internet connection in all these countries in case of technical failure, Algerian News Agency reported.
The minister told 33rd session of the Executive Board of the Arab ICT Ministers the platform is supposed to be “ensuring minimum connectivity in case of technical failure,”
Algeria chaired the session and handed over the presidency of 34th session, which will take place in Cairo next June.
