Platter and Hayatou Applauded Morocco for its Continued Development of their Football Infrastructure

Manchester, England| Issa Hayatou, president of Confederation of African Football, told the 35th general assembly of the Confederation of African Football held in Morocco last week that ““Morocco has been a great, willing and constant supporter of African football for a long time and we are pleased to be here again,”
Talking about Morocco, which is scheduled to stage the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, Mr. Hayatou said during The 35th Confederation of African Football Ordinary General Assembly in Marrakech, Morocco ” It is 25 years since I was selected to head African football here in Morocco so this country holds special memories for me.”
On the other hand, FIFA President, Sepp Blatter applauded Morocco for the continued development of their football infrastructure and recent launching of professional league.
“ As a result Morocco will become the first African nation to host FIFA World Club Cup in December this year and that is recognition of the enormous work Morocco through the guidance and leadership of King Mohamed VI has undertaken,” said FIFA president
Moroccan Minister of Youth and Sport Mohamed Ouzzine said “Football gives hope, brings out the emotions in us and it is the light that guides us towards a better world,”
Mr. Platter took the opportunity to laud Issa Hayatou’s leadership of African football over the last quarter of a century,” African football has become world famous and made commendable strides and progressed tremendously during this period,”
