Yesterday morning’s session was scheduled to hear the defendants’ last word. All defendants maintained their innocence and kept denying all charges against them.
Those charges ranged from setting up a gang, to violence against security forces resulting in death besides the mutilation of a body.
Attorneys spoke in defense of their clients and clang to their innocence due to the absence of proofs and the lack of the crime constructive elements.
On the contrary, the Prosecutor confirmed all charges and supported the Court’s verdicts.
It is worth mentioning that Morocco News Tribune ran an article yesterday on Moroccan Attorney General who accused one of Gdim Izik group members of concocting the event plan abroad.
