Three Arrested Over Gang Rape of Swiss Tourist in India

Agadir, Morocco | India police has arrsted three suspects in the gang raping of a swiss toururist, India Times reported.
“Vishnu Kanjar, Ram Kanjar and Gaza Kanjar were arrested in Datia District,” the website reported.
The continuous gang rape incidents came to throw the spotlight on the treatment of women in India after three months after the fatal gang rape of a young student.
The last incident concerns a Swiss woman who has been gang raped on Friday allegedly by up to eight men in central India while she was camping with her husband, in the central state of Madhya Pradesh, news reports said on Saturday.
The couple was camping near Jhadia village when seven men allegedly looted them and raped the woman. A case has been registered against seven unidentified people in Datia Civil Lines police station in Madhya Pradesh.
